The Opt-Out Ordiance will be introduced again at the Feb. 7th city council meeting @ 705 W. University Ave. Lafayette, La. Please plan to attend to show your support for the opt-out option. You don't have to speak, we just need YOU there!! The vote will occur on Feb. 28th.
To many Lafayette residents are unaware of the so called "Smart Meters" that will be going into homes within the next few months. At the Dec. 20th Council Meeting the Opt-Out option was defeated by a 3-2 vote.
