Our Speaker is Bert Callais
Former business owner
Landscape and Retail nursery sales
Former owner/ operator in long haul trucking. Served in the US Navy and La. National Guard Deployed overseas 2 times. Serving in Iraq during the dismantling of Sadam Hussain’s dictatorship and in defense of the citizens conducting their first election in 25 years on a paper ballot system. Bert serves on the W. Baton Rouge Parish Board of Election Supervisors and spends time as a citizen advocate at the Capitol during the session. Bert is very knowledgeable of the inner workings of our election system.
