Event Description

We will honor all Veterans attending the meeting. We will have Holly Talley, Local Director of the Concerned Veterans for America telling us about her organization. We have 5 candidates who are in the runoffs that will speak for 10 minutes each and after all have spoken we will have a meet and greet. The 5 are: Billy Nungesser for Lt. Governor, Jean-Paul Coussan for State Representative District 45, Andy Naquin City Council District 6, also Mark Garber and Chad Leger running for Lafayette Parish Sheriff. This will again be your chance to meet the candidates. If time allows there will be updates on the elections.

Every year we do something for the Jennings Veterans Home. The Director told me that one of the items they need are stamps. So if you could bring at least one or more books of stamps it would be appreciated.
