Acadiana Patriots Monthly Meeting on August 14th at 6:00 PM at the Robicheaux Recreation Center

The Acadiana Patriots will be celebrating their 4^th year anniversary. Cake and Food will be provided along with refreshments.

We will have special guest speakers talking about Common Core and there experiences over the past year and what the future holds and how to get involved.

Sara Wood a mother of 4 from Mandeville Proud LA graduate of Alfred Bonnabel High School, University of New Orleans, Loyola University at New Orleans, School of Law, 100% Hispanic woman, double minority, first generation American raised by a single mother of low income, and I know with certainty that if I had been educated under this Common Core Initiative and tested under PARCC, my education credentials would be much less and therefore my life would be vastly different and very likely not for the better.  I only want what is best for my children and all children of Louisiana publicly educated and I know that this is the opposite.

Also Mary Kass President of the Greater New Orleans Tea Party and the Lady who was one of the first people to research Common Core 4 years ago and her Vice-President Terri Timcke who keeps us all well informed will be here.

Brooke Falgout and Debbie Sachs two Common Core Mothers and warriors will be here also.
