Acadiana Patriots Monthly Meeting on May 8th at 6:00 PM at the Robichaux Recreational Center

Vincent Barras, a Lafayette High Teacher who has written several articles against Common Core will be our guest speaker and will give us the the inside story from a teachers prospective. Also a video presentation done by Christopher Holton in Oklahoma an expert on the Gulenist movement of Turkish Charter schools and how they have infiltrated our system will be shown and discussed. Gulen is Turkish and many reps and Parish presidents have had all expense paid trips to Turkey. This is a need to know situation. Also will cover legislation bills passed and defeated. Also local 1% sales Tax for the Airport. Do we need it? Who is Stand For Children and who are they funded by? Why are they so supportive of Common Core.
