Do you really know what Common Core Standards is going to bring to the student ?

Our guest speaker Kathryn Goppelt resides in Gonzales, Louisiana with her husband of twenty-nine years, Lou, and their five children who were all educated at home. Kathryn has a B.S in Secondary Education from Iowa State University.  She has been active in Ascension Parish government for almost twenty years and is presently the chairwoman for the Ascension Republican Party.  She is also working with teachers and mothers who are concerned about Common Core and the educational policy it embraces to inform the public with facts.  One of the results of their work is the presentation that she with the help of her son created entitled “A Roadmap to Understanding Common Core.”  Their vision is that others will understand and share what they have learned, networking with others across the state of Louisiana to bring the control of education back to parents, classroom teachers and local school districts.

This is a great opportunity to educate those who don't know or understand Common Core Standards. Get as many people to this event as you can !!!!!
