GUNS ACROSS AMERICA EVENT in Baton Rouge on Saturday!

(Baton Rouge, LA, - 01/19/13) The “Right to Keep and Bear Arms” is an individual right that has been challenged in the United States Supreme Court in recent years with “McDonald v. Chicago” and “District of Columbia v. Heller”. Both case decisions affirmed the intent of the Second  Amendment referenced for individuals rights to keep and bear arms.

On January 19, 2013 Second Amendment supporters are rallying nationwide and here in Baton Rouge Louisiana to show support for our individual rights with “Guns Across America”. “Guns Across America” is a peaceful and motivational rally that will send a positive message  of gun ownership to the nation. It will dispel fallacies that the gun  control advocates have been sending through media coverage.
Eric  Reed, national organizer for Guns Across America events and Gun Control = More Crime, states “Our goal is to unite gun owners behind a  singular message of protecting our second amendment rights.  We hope  citizens will become more vocal and active politically in regards to any changes in gun control laws.”  Attendees are encouraged to sign a  petition that will be delivered to the US Senators representing their  states.

We invite you to attend this peaceful demonstration as we  tell the nation we oppose any further gun control laws or legislation.  We are law abiding citizens that exercise our rights, and will not be  held accountable for the criminal actions of other people.
