IMPORTANT - Lafayette City Council Meeting

ACTION ALERT!

There is a city ordinance that will be up for vote by the council on April 19th. The ordinance reads "no tax increases without a vote of the people" It is ordinance O-088-2011 and was put before the city council by William Theriot/Jared Bellard.  Acadiana Patriots is in total SUPPORT of this ordiance.  The city parish president & many of the councilman in the recent past have tried several times to put "TIF" taxes through. We the People must tighten their ability to play politics as usual! Help Stop this tax and spend enviroment.  Your ACTION is needed!  

ACTION 1 - CALL, CALL, CALL

For those in Lafayette Parish, please contact your city councilman and DEMAND they vote YES on Ordinance O-088-2011 -No Tax increases without a vote of the people.

ACTION 2 - BE THERE

Attend the City Council meeting on Tuesday, April 19th to support this ordinance and see how YOUR councilman votes on this. (By the way, it is an election year for them)  At the entry of the council meeting pick up and complete one of the blue sheets to either speak in support of or mark where noted that you want it known you support this ordinance!

Our fight to fiscial responsibility, limited government and free market are not only on the federal level, we must also have it on our local level.  PLEASE be a person of ACTION!
