Event Description

Are the detainment provisions of the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act serious?
Are these provisions vague, overbroad and open to interpretation?
How has it affected our Bill of Rights?

We are honored to have Rep. Jeff Landry come in to discuss and educate us on the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 (NDAA) Public Law Number 112-81. He will explain what section 1021 & 1022 mean to us as citizens. He will also explain House Resolution 3676 that he has sponsored.

This meeting will be held at Comeaux Recreation Center on March 8th at 6:00. Please make plans to attend and learn about NDAA. This is very important, please come and learn. There will be a Q & A at the end.
