This is the story of a community of Cajuns in the small, fictional town of Datsilleeya, Louisiana.  It is a satirical account of how hard-working, dedicated, faithful, independent and Patriotic citizens overcome the 'anti-American Scourge,' the 'Liberal Horde' and eventually 'The Government!'
