Event Description

This meeting will focus on the Smart meters that LUS is going to place on homes and business in Lafayette. The Opt- Out was not approved by the Council and we witnessed how our city government works things by not listening to the people and their concerns. This is not over, we just have to formulate a new plan. We definetely need everyone of you to be at this meeting. There will be reports on what took place at the council meeting and more. We need your involvement not only for Smart Meters but 2012 is an important election year to save our country.

We Will also discuss the Agenda 21 LA Symposium that will be held on January 14th. We are in hopes of having a few tickets that can be purchased at the meeting. Car pool arrangements will be discussed.

Educating the membership and the community in anything Agenda21, sustainable development, ICLEI, UN takeover, is critical to getting our country 'deregulated' from redtape, fees, etc. that are keeping businesses from success and keeps people from having wealth picked from their pockets. Keep up the good work!
