CONCERN(Ed) PARENTS PROTECTING THE DREAMS OF THEIR CHILDREN!

We are NOT misinformed. We know what the Common Core State Standards Initiative is, and we REJECT it!

WHAT? - A showcase of the public's concern over this federal takeover to fundamentally change our education system. We will hold a funeral for CCSSI. WHERE? - On the steps of the Claiborne Building in Baton Rouge WHEN? - Saturday, September 28th from 10:00am - 12:00pm WHAT TO BRING? - Signs, banners, and friends! WEAR BLACK. WHY? - We are here to champion for the children of Louisiana. Now is the time to join the fight to keep education local. We want to bury CCSSI!

Comment by Adam Mouton on September 28, 2013 at 4:14pm: Over 200 concerned citizens came today to express that Common Core is not for Louisiana's children. Check Channel 10, Channell 9 and Channel 33. Also the event was covered by The Times Picayune and The Advocate.
